My name is Melanie Le page and I have always had a keen interest in animals from an early age and was forever watching David Attenborough, and grew up in a house full of different animals. I knew that this was the career  I wanted.

I set up Claws and Paws on the Moors in sept 2021.Which was better suited to work round my dogs. Muffin the staffy was my first having rehomed her from wingletang while volunteering there Sadly we lost Muffin in 2022 due to lymphoma.

Joy and Happy are my dachshunds that came home with me from work during lockdown and never left A short while after loosing Muffin, we got Cookie as the house was to empty without a staffy. She shortly realised she has a lot of anxiety and have been working with her ever since to build her confidence. When I'm not working, I'm usually out walking on Dartmoor or paddle boarding with my husband (Ryan) and the dogs cookie, happy and joy having their own doggy adventures on the weekends I also like to do a charity walk or challenge a year to raise money for rescue animals.

I aim to provide exceptional pet care service with always the pets welfare prioritised.

I took sally lewis well being on walks course aswell as the IMDT dog body language course so I can always access that every dog is having a great time, keeping close contact with owners for any changes in behaviour, health etc..
